Champions League Round of 16 - 20/21 season

The Champions League Round of 16 was completed last night with the last of the 2nd leg matches taking place. 

Chelsea were able to beat Atlético Madrid 2-0 last night, seeing it out with a last minute goal in the 94th minute. Questions were asked about a possible penalty and red card against Chelsea early on in the game but VAR stuck with the on-field decision - no action required.

Bayern Munich also had a comfortable match against Lazio, having already won the first leg 1-4 away from home. They won 2-1 last night which put them through to the Quarter Final draw 6-2 on aggregate.

Chelsea and Bayern now join Manchester City, Real Madrid, PSG, Liverpool, Dortmund and Porto - who caused a shock upset when they held on to knockout Italian club Juventus - for the Quarter Final draw taking place Friday 19 March 2021.
