Arsenal vs Tottenham: North London derby predictions and where to watch
Arsenal vs Tottenham is scheduled for a 4.30pm GMT kick-off on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at The Emirates Stadium.
Still no fans allowed in the stadium however, it will be shown on Sky Sports and available to stream.
Both teams won on Thursday night in their Europa League games. Arsenal beat Olympiacos 1-3 making it 3 away goals for the return leg and Spurs were comfortable in their 2-0 victory against Dinamo Zagreb.
Despite this, Arsenal once again almost cost themselves the match from another self-inflicted and avoidable error. This is cause for concern for the Gunners as to whether the same could happen on Sunday - having already made a number of errors in the previous games and clearly not learning from their mistakes.
On a positive note for Arsenal, Martin Ødegaard scored his first goal for the club as well as Thomas Partey playing until the 60th minute and Emile Smith-Rowe also getting a run-out towards the end of the game on his return from injury.
Looking at the Tottenham lineup for the game, they appear to be in full strength. Kane scored two against Dinamo Zagreb with Bale showing an impressive run of form as of late. The only downside for Spurs would be their track record of failing to keep hold of a lead but those results have taken a turn for the better since Mourinho started playing a more expansive style of football.
Our Prediction:
Both teams usually appear to be a mirror of each-other in the run up to the North London Derby showing an improved form after early setbacks.
No Arsenal manager has lost his first three matches against Tottenham, a fate Arteta is trying to avoid. This is his first home derby, though.
It could go either way with goals likely from both teams attacking threats and Arsenal's self-inflicted errors of late:
Arsenal 2-2 Tottenham
